My Training Philosophy

I have always had an interest to work within the fitness industry and after taking 5 years to complete my training and courses, I decided in 2004 to change my career. My goal is to provide clients with safe and effective exercises by helping them improve their health and fitness levels through a personal program including proper nutrition choices and incorporating a fitness routine into their lives with ease.

With my certifications, I am able to branch out in many directions to help people with their life changing goals. I bring my services to the comfort of your own home. I travel with my equipment and incorporate any equipment you might have into a routine designed with you in mind. There is no need for fancy machines and gadgets, a stability ball and a few dumbbells are all that’s needed for a very intense and effective workout. The beauty of exercising in your own home is that you can choose the right time for you, there are no locked in fees for a gym, no wait time for equipment and you never have to feel intimidated again.

I have the honour of helping people with their journey to a healthier lifestyle and being able to reach their goals and by that, I don’t always mean weight loss; I believe that is a bonus. Weight loss is certainly the most common goal but there are also goals of climbing the stairs, standing for a longer period of time, controlling their blood pressure medication and strengthening the bones as the onset of osteoporosis has set in. Those are very exciting life changing goals.

I don’t put my clients on diets. I don’t restrict any food groups either. We are ‘real’ people and have ‘real’ lives. There are social events such as Birthday’s, Christmas, Summer BBQ’s and so many more. The key is to understand what we are eating, why and how we use the food to benefit our bodies. Proper meal planning is key and I can help you develop one that you can live with.

I want to teach my clients how to create a healthy lifestyle that works for them and will continue for the rest of their lives. Habits take time to form and by understanding how important exercise and proper nutrition is, it makes it easier to change our habits.

Proper nutrition and physical fitness go hand in hand and you can’t have one without the other.
We all have one body, one life and one heart. Let’s live life to the fullest.
